The Rhode Island Lottery is sticking with International Game Technology to run the lone sports betting app allowed in the state for at least another three years.

IGT has run the Sportsbook Rhode Island app since it launched in 2019, a year after gambling on sports was legalized in the state. Over that period, IGT has kept 32% of the money lost by bettors, with 51% going to the state and 17% to Bally’s (formerly known as Twin River).

IGT’s contract was set to end in November and the new deal announced by the Lottery Thursday would extend the contract until November, 2026 at the same share of winnings.
