The race is on as two major casino projects take shape in the stateline.
Leaders with Ho-Chunk Nation say the Beloit casino and hotel project is on track as the development moves closer to its planned opening date. In October 2024, crews began construction on Ho-Chunk Gaming Beloit at the southeast corner of Willowbrook and Colley roads.
The gaming floor alone will span more than 240,000 square feet with 1,500 gaming machines, along with live entertainment and more than half a dozen food and beverage options.
The development will also include a hotel with more than 200 rooms, although final designs could push that number higher depending on market demand.
