Australian slot machine provider Ainsworth Game Technology (AGT) has announced the resignation of its CEO, Harald Neumann, with immediate effect after the Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB) last week opted against renewing his license in the state.
In a filing, AGT said it would undertake a comprehensive search process for a permanent replacement, with both external and internal candidates being considered. Ryan Comstock, the company’s Chief Operating Officer, will step into the role on an interim basis, also effective immediately.
AGT had confirmed late last week that it was reviewing Neumann’s position after the NGCB recommended he withdraw his application for license renewal in the state.
