A lucky guest has been awarded a multi-million dollar jackpot while at one Las Vegas Strip casino.
On Thursday, The Venetian announced that they had awarded an almost three million dollar payout on Sunday, May 14. The winner, who chose to remain anonymous, was playing Ultimate Texas Hold’em and was dealt a spade royal flush. The player had made a $5 side bet, which promoted them to win the game’s mega tier of the Millionaire Progressive, worth $2,699,320.
Officials with The Venetian say the jackpot was the biggest since the game’s inception back in late 2018.
Over the last few years, the Millionaire Progressive has minted 11 total millionaires.
