The Golden Palace group has officially announced its bid to take over the concession for Brussels’ Viage casino, whose tender was launched by the Belgian capital in May.

The casino operator aims to transform the current Viage casino into a large complex, confirmed Massimo Menegalli, the CEO of the Belgian operator.

He said that the group’s ambition goes beyond simply running a casino and that they want to create “a true entertainment hub, in the heart of the pedestrian zone, bringing together gaming, culture, gastronomy, events, and tourism.”

According to Journal des Casinos, the casino group, which will operate four casinos in France starting at the end of 2026, plans to invest 30m in developing what could become its first Belgian casino.
