The new Park City casino and entertainment complex has an opening date and a new name. Formerly Golden Circle, Gilley’s, the Phil Ruffin-owned development in the former Wichita Greyhound Park at 77th and Hydraulic, is scheduled to open Dec. 15.

The casino will feature about 1,000 historical horse racing machines, a sports bar, an arcade and Gilley’s Saloon & Dance Hall.

The company is creating an outdoor venue behind the building as well. It will have 10 pickleball courts, a concession area and an open-air venue built for music festivals and even rodeos.

“I have been a personal friend of Mickey Gilley and family since the early 1990s, and it led me to bring the Gilley’s experience to Las Vegas,” Ruffin said in a news release.
