Victory Casino Cruises’ only ship, the Victory I, remains sidelined in an extended dry dock with no date set for its return to service, the company said in a social media announcement.
The ship’s last sailing was a “Bon Voyage Cruise” on Sept. 28, after which it went into dry dock for scheduled maintenance, according to the company’s website. The update, signed by “Captain Tim,” said the extended maintenance period means the company is temporarily halting operations.
Before the shutdown, Victory sailed twice daily Tuesday through Sunday on five-hour gaming cruises into international waters, offering more than 600 slot machines and table games. The company relocated the vessel, previously based in Jacksonville, to Port Canaveral in 2017.
