A Las Vegas man was arrested for allegedly orchestrating an extortion scheme against Steve Wynn, the former CEO of Wynn Resorts and casino mogul, sending a barrage of threatening emails and packages demanding $1 million.
According to the Palm Beach Police Department, on January 30, Wynn’s executive assistant met with officers after Wynn reported an extortion.
The probable cause affidavit states that the situation began in October 2023 when Wynn, who resides in Palm Beach, began receiving a barrage of threatening emails from 43-year-old Michael Loizias.
