A West Michigan business made a generous contribution that will help support education, road repairs and much more in the State of Michigan. 24.5 million dollars was poured into the state economy, thanks to the Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi and FireKeepers Casino Hotel.
The partnership agreement annually supports the state’s budget to maximize public projects and supports the Michigan Native American Heritage Fund.
In March, 18.5 million dollars was awarded to the State of Michigan, while the FireKeepers Local Revenue Sharing Board (FLRSB) was awarded 6 million dollars.
NHBP and FireKeepers Casino Hotel officials say they are committed to reinvesting in local communities and supporting charitable efforts across Michigan and neighboring states.
