FDJ United has reported third quarter revenue of €864m, [$1.01b] down 3% year-on-year, as the French gaming and lottery operator faced headwinds from increased taxes and tighter regulations across key markets.

The Paris-listed group said revenue would have been virtually stable excluding a €21m impact from increased taxes on betting and gaming, including €18m in France where new levies took effect from 1 July.

For the first nine months of 2025, revenue reached €2.73bn, down 2% on a restated basis accounting for FDJ’s October 2024 acquisition of Kindred Group.

The company’s online betting and gaming division bore the brunt of the challenging conditions, posting Q3 revenue of €209m, down 16%.
