Kindred Group’s board of directors has undergone a major shake-up following the company’s acquisition by La Française des Jeux (FDJ).

Several key board members, including chairman Evert Carlsson, stepped down yesterday (14 October).

Along with Carlsson, directors James H. Gemmel, Cédric Boireau, Andrew McCue, Jonas Jansson, and Kenneth Shea have also resigned.

Gemmel was a representative of Corvex Management, which was previously Kindred’s largest shareholder.

The remaining directors, Heidi Skogster and Martin Randel, will remain on the board until the next annual general meeting in 2025.

Following the departures, Kindred board has appointed Pascal Chaffard, Edeline Minaire, and Célia Vérot as new directors, all of whom were nominated by FDJ.
