U.S. sportsbook FanDuel is reportedly set to name its interim CEO as its permanent leader, six months after former CEO Amy Howe departed amid a steep slide in parent company Flutter Entertainment’s share price.
According to Front Office Sports, interim CEO Christian Genetski will become FanDuel’s full-time CEO, effective January 1. FOS learned of the appointment from an internal email to Flutter employees from Dan Taylor, who became CEO of FanDuel parent Flutter Entertainment on October 1 after Peter Jackson stepped down.
“Christian has done a fantastic job leading FanDuel on an interim basis,” indicates the email obtained by the publication.
