Evoke shareholders overwhelmingly approve takeover by Bally’s Intralot

The £243m [$329m] deal for Bally’s Intralot to take over evoke has moved closer to completion after the target’s shareholders voted convincingly in favor.

A “material uncertainty” about Bally’s ability to keep the company afloat was flagged by evoke as part of its H1 2026 interim report.

The embattled operator’s directors expressed their concern about a “lack of visibility over Intralot’s ability and intentions to operate the group under its ownership.”

Robeson Reeves, CEO of Bally’s Intralot, has maintained that he has no intention of immediately selling off any evoke assets following the deal’s completion, which has been expected to complete in Q4 2026 or Q1 2027.
