It seemed for a few days that Oklahoma was as close to legalized sports betting as it had ever gotten following the passage of a few new bills out of committee.
“I refer you to my last response.”
Those aren’t Gov. Kevin Stitt’s exact words, but it’s the kind of response you get when someone wants to imply they don’t have an answer that differs from what’s already been said.
Stitt, rather, posted to social media [February 24] a website link introduced with, “If the Legislature is going to pass sports betting in Oklahoma, it needs to be a fair deal for everyone — not just the tribes.”
