There is a new entry on the ever-growing list of things to worry about in Ohio.
University of Dayton men’s basketball coach Anthony Grant revealed his players have been attacked on social media by bettors angry over gambling losses on UD games.
The Flyers won one and lost one, but in victory they didn’t cover the spread, and some newly empowered Ohio gamblers took it upon themselves to make their anger known to players, anonymously, on social media, with threats of violence included.
Coach Grant said it’s a mental health issue and called on Dayton fans to refrain from such abhorrent behavior.
