Plans for a casino that have long been in the works in Long Beach have once again been changed as the developer is now wanting to build the casino in the city’s harbor.
Thursday night, the Long Beach mayor and board of alderman met to discuss revised plans from Long Beach LLC, who is now trying to make the Long Beach Harbor the site for a new casino.
The company wants to use land south of Highway 90 next to Parrish’s Restaurant and the Long Beach Yacht Club as the new proposed site and the special session in Long Beach quickly turned into an executive session as the city board privately discussed leasing details for the plan.
