The MotorCity Casino Hotel in Detroit has completed the first phase of newly renovated guestrooms, which are now available for booking. It’s part of a multi-year, $65 million initiative to transform the guest experience across the property.

The initial phase includes two completed floors, with additional renovated guestrooms and suites scheduled to open progressively through the end of 2027. Overall, the hotel offers 400 guestrooms.

In recent months, as part of the initiative, The Wagner, an expanded bar and lounge, opened at the center of the casino floor. The name references part of the casino’s footprint, the historic Wagner Baking Co. building built in 1915 that later was used as a Wonder Bread production facility.
