City leaders in Danville are rolling the dice on a new initiative to boost tourism by planning a satellite visitor center inside Caesars Virginia.
The proposed 600-square-foot space, located near the entrance to the spa, fitness center, and pool, is expected to enhance the city’s appeal to the influx of visitors drawn by the casino.
Corrie Bobe, Director of Economic Development and Tourism, said, “We wanted to find a way to better connect with those individuals. We understand that they will stay and play in the casino and enjoy all of the amenities there, but also we want to introduce them to what else the community and the region has to offer.”
