Harry Reid International Airport maintained its fifth-place spot in the “mega” category of airports in the latest North America Airport Satisfaction Study by JD Power, seeing an increase in positive feedback in various segments as the airport continues large-scale modernization efforts to increase capacity.
The Las Vegas airport improved by 15 points on JD Power’s 1,000-point scale in the firm’s 2026 North America Airport Satisfaction Study, scoring significantly above the average in its category, according to Michael Taylor, senior managing director of travel, hospitality, retail and customer service at JD Power.
Harry Reid has “natural advantages,” Taylor said, including its proximity to the Las Vegas Strip and the opportunities to gamble at one of its many slot machines.
