A group of California consumer protection law practices has filed class action lawsuits against daily fantasy sports operators FanDuel, DraftKings, PrizePicks, and Underdog.

The suits claim that these operators have been offering illegal sports betting in California under the guise of daily fantasy sports.

Almeida Law Group has filed the suits on behalf of California residents who played daily fantasy sports games in the state. The lawsuits demand monetary and injunctive relief and claim these companies breached the California Penal Code.

While the Almeida Law Group has filed four lawsuits, it continues to investigate other operators, such as Thrillzz, Parlay Play, Sleeper, Boom Fantasy, Yahoo Daily Fantasy, Dabble, and Betr.
