The Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection reported a monthly record internet casino revenue total of $44.3 million for March. It also reported a record handle of $1.35 billion.
FanDuel‘s record haul of $21.4 million helped set a new standard, eclipsing the previous mark, which was established in December, by $50,041. It was the first time FanDuel surpassed $20 million in gross revenue in the Nutmeg State, easily topping its previous best of $19.4 million, which also was set last December.
FanDuel and fellow operator DraftKings combined for $37.7 million in adjusted gross revenue, second to the $39.4 million accrued in December. The difference was DraftKings taking its full allotted 15% deduction in promotional credits in March, which totaled $3.4 million — $1.5 million more than December.
