The state collected more than $31 million in revenue from tribal gaming operations in July, according to data released this week by the Department of Consumer Protection.

The gaming data, which the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation and Mohegan Tribe report to the state each month, showed month-to-month revenue increases for both tribes’ slot machines, online sportsbooks and online casinos.

While the Mohegan Tribe also reported year-over-year revenue growth across these three categories, the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation reported a year-over-year decrease in every category except for online casino gaming.
