Visitors to Cripple Creek will have a new, high-end dining option with the opening Saturday of 980 Prime Steakhouse at Chamonix Casino Hotel.
Chamonix, whose slogan is “European elegance meets Colorado comfort,” opened in late December, though with some amenities to come — including 980 Prime. The steakhouse is led by chef Barry Dakake and restauranteur Yassine Lyoubi, who are known for owning and operating Barry’s Downtown Prime restaurant in Las Vegas.
The 300-room hotel and casino plans to open its rooftop pool within weeks, according to a release this week, and expects to open its salon and full-service spa early this summer.
