Europe’s first integrated casino resort will be opening in Cyprus on July 10 this year, Melco Resort announced on Thursday.Described as a game changing development, the resort is “poised to revolutionise the island’s tourism and hospitality sectors,” the company said.

The doors for City of Dreams Mediterranean in Zakaki “will bring Melco’s award-wining standards of entertainment and leisure and welcome innovation to Cyprus’ luxury hotel scene,” the resort’s general manager Grant Johnson said.

Beyond gambling, it sets out to offer fine dining, extensive entertainment, and the biggest expo centre in Cyprus.

Describing it as a landmark project and Melco’s first venture in Europe, City of Dreams Mediterranean will have 500 guest rooms and suites, including the largest presidential suite on the island.
