Churchill Downs Incorporated (CDI) announced the opening of the newest Rosie’s Gaming Emporium in Emporia, Virginia. Located on West Atlantic Street, CDI’s new venue features 150 Historical Racing Machines, simulcast horse racing, [and] a restaurant and bar.

CDI celebrated the occasion by donating $25,000 to five local charities.

With the recent opening of the Virginia casino in Emporia, the number of Rosie’s Gaming Emporiums rounds to seven venues in total. In a CDI press release, CEO Bill Carstanjen said:

“This marks our seventh Rosie’s gaming property and adds to our tremendous success in Virginia, taking us to the Southern border of the state for the first time.”
