One of the most important nights in rock history will be recreated at Fallsview Casino’s Avalon Theatre in September.
Genre-bending singer/songwriter Cat Power will do a song-for-song tribute to Bob Dylan’s famed 1966 concert at London’s Royal Albert Hall.
It was at this show that Dylan followed his usual acoustic set with an electric set alongside a full band. His fans took it as a betrayal from the folk icon, with one member of the audience famously yelling out “Judas!” Dylan responded with “I don’t believe you … you’re a liar.” He then told his band to “play it f—-in’ loud” before a fierce performance of “Like a Rolling Stone.”
