California’s Red Hawk Casino opens entertainment center aimed at families

Although casinos are generally seen as adult entertainment more than anything, that concept is slightly beginning to shift. Although you have to be of legal betting age to enter casinos and play games, different resorts are expanding to allow for more family-friendly entertainment.

The Las Vegas Strip, for example, now includes numerous spots for families to visit, such as The Big Apple Coaster & Arcade, Shark Reef Aquarium, Discovery Children’s Museum, and Marvel’s Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N. And more and more casino resorts are adding all-ages entertainment, as seen with the recent Red Hawk Resort & Casino expansion.

The Apex, an entertainment center featuring plenty of different things to do, is open for business! The newly opened Apex, which is located at the Red Hawk Casino, was built on top of the parking garage. The 80,000-square foot attraction features plenty of family-friendly options, such as a virtual reality arcade, indoor go-karting, golf simulation, and a bowling alley with 18 lanes.
