Elk Grove has received a donation of more than $1 million from Wilton Rancheria and Sky River Casino to aid in road improvements, marking a significant investment in the city’s infrastructure and future.

The donation is part of a growing partnership that Elk Grove Mayor Bobbie Singh-Allen said benefits the city as its population continues to boom.

“As the city continues to grow, so do our transportation needs. And very specifically roadway improvement and infrastructure,” Singh-Allen said.

The funds are expected to improve roadways throughout Elk Grove, especially on Kammerer Road, Grant Line, and the Whitelock interchange near the Highway 99 corridor, all located near Sky River Casino.
