Graton Resort & Casino announced the promotion Thursday of Amy Ellis to the new position of chief human resources officer, or CHRO.
Ellis joins Graton Resort & Casino’s executive team with more than 19 years of experience in human resources. As CHRO, Ellis is responsible for managing the recruitment and retention of employees as well as overseeing team member engagement, development, and wellness programs and benefits.
“During a time when most organizations were experiencing the Great Resignation during the COVID-19 pandemic, we saw the opposite happening here at Graton Resort & Casino,” said Lana Rivera, president of Graton Resort & Casino. “When our doors re-opened, 98% of team members returned. Amy’s leadership was a critical contributor to that, and we are truly grateful to have her on our executive team.”
