The Caesars Virginia casino project is still on track to open during the fourth quarter of this year, according to a Virginia Lottery official.
“The permanent casino, the construction there is moving great,” Ray Dunkle, director of gaming operations for the Virginia Lottery, told the Virginia Lottery Board during its meeting Wednesday in Richmond.
“It looks significantly different,” he added regarding the full casino project’s progress. “If we would go and stand in that same place right now, it would be a different look for sure. They’re looking to open in the fourth quarter.”
In addition, it appears that the temporary Danville Casino’s gaming offerings will expand.
