Just like its Roman namesake, Caesars Virginia towers over the city, only on this occasion; there’s no Colosseum and we aren’t in Rome, we’re in Danville and this is the city’s long-awaited resort.
Guests have come from near: “I check it out every week just to see what’s going on over here,” said Danville native, Randy Hondett.
And they’ve come from far: “I wanted to go to Las Vegas, I haven’t got there, so I’m just a one-hour drive, I’m from Lynchburg and after I gotta do what I gotta do at home, I’m here,” said Sadie Moon.
Even special guest Dennis Rodman made an appearance, but they’ve come for one thing: Caesars Virginia.
