Just as gaming opportunities seem to be heating up in the United Arab Emirates, one Las Vegas-based company is exiting the market.
Caesars Entertainment will no longer operate a non-gaming hotel and resort in Dubai starting in November, according to an announcement Wednesday from Singapore-based hotel operator Banyan Tree Group, which will rebrand Caesars Palace Dubai as Banyan Tree Dubai.
The UAE announced last week the formation of a gaming regulatory authority to create and oversee the framework for a national lottery and casino gaming.
