They say slot machines are a fool’s game. Bluff calls 24 hundred-dollar bills “fun coupons.”
In a YouTube video titled “I finally hit a grand jackpot,” gambling content creator Bobby Rivas, known online as Bluff or Bluffin’ Bob, turns a day at the 85-year-old El Cortez Hotel & Casino in Downtown Las Vegas into a spectacle of near losses, mounting bets and a jackpot worth more than $45,000. Posted 11 months ago, the video has drawn more than a million views—a million chances for viewers to feel the rush of a big win without risking a dollar of their own.
The action begins at a crapless craps machine—also called bubble craps—where Rivas taps digital chips across the screen with the ease of someone ordering lunch. He starts with $600, rolls the dice and watches his balance climb.
“We are going to walk away with some money today. It’s not that hard,” he says, half joking. “You just come to bubble craps and go on a God roll.”
