Developer Bart Blatstein, who is juggling lawsuits for not paying contractors who built various parts of his Showboat Resort Atlantic City complex, must pay an electrical contractor more than a half-million dollars, a judge ordered Friday.
Superior Court Judge Danielle J. Walcoff ordered Blatstein and his Tower Investments and Accelerated Construction Company to pay Lee-Way Electrical of Buena $532,933.35 plus 12.5% interest “until paid in full.”
The principal amount owed for work on parts of the Showboat and its garage was $525,841, plus $7,092.35 in attorney’s fees and costs, according to the ruling.
Blatstein did not immediately return a request for comment.
