The city’s casinos and their online operations saw their collective operating profits decline by nearly 4% in 2025, a worrisome development as Atlantic City prepares to fight off new casinos in New York City and a renewed effort to allow casinos in other parts of New Jersey.
Figures released Wednesday by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement showed the nine casinos and two online-only entities posted a collective gross operating profit of $681.6 million in all of 2025, a decline of 3.9%.
Excluding the two internet entities, Caesars Interactive Entertainment NJ and Resorts Digital, the nine casinos posted a gross operating profit of $665.4 million, down 1.4% for the year.
