Saracen Casino Resort in Pine Bluff has named a new Chief Executive Officer after terminating its Chief Marketing Officer and General Manager.
Officials with the Downstream Development Authority, owners of Saracen Casino, said that, effective immediately, Rod Centers will act as Chief Executive Officer, following the termination of Chief Marketing Officer Carlton Saffa and General Manager Matt Harkness on Monday, by unanimous board resolution and with approval from the Quapaw Nation Business Committee.
According to Saracen officials, Centers brings over 25 years of operations leadership, including 15 years running casino and hospitality properties across the country.
He has recently served as Chief Operating Officer of Seneca Gaming Corporation, the Seneca Nation’s gaming enterprise, where he led operations for Seneca Niagara, Seneca Buffalo Creek, and Seneca Allegany.
