Aristocrat Leisure Limited has outlined a comprehensive restructuring of its social gaming business that will see the former Pixel United segment rebranded as Product Madness after disposing of one of its social gaming operations, Plarium Global Limited.
Confirming that the sale of Plarium to Modern Times Group has now completed, Aristocrat revealed via a Thursday morning ASX filing that it has also wrapped up a strategic review into the group’s casual and mid-core gaming assets through which it has determined to restructure its social gaming offering.
The new Product Madness segment will include results from Aristocrat’s core social slots business, Product Madness, and from Big Fish Games, with the latter to undergo significant changes of its own.
