Missouri sports fans who also like to place a bet need to wait just one more weekend before they can fire away on sports wagers in the state.
After voters legalized sports gambling last year, the state is set to open up the books on Monday and allow bets on phones. But casinos are also preparing their sportsbooks for bettors to make physical bets on launch day.
“It was really important to us to create this entertainment hub right in the middle of our casino,” said Doug Lang, senior vice president and general manager at Boyd Gaming’s Ameristar Casino.
If you visit the Ameristar Casino in St. Charles, it’ll look a little different.
