Bluberi Gaming, a gaming product and technology company, is expanding to Canada with the news their top-performing titles are being added at casinos in Alberta.
“Alberta players want the latest, most popular slot games, so adding the Las Vegas-based electronic-gaming-machine manufacturer Bluberi Gaming to casino and racing-entertainment-center floors is exciting,” said Steve Lautischer, Executive Vice President, Business Development, Alberta Gaming, Liquor & Cannabis. “Their slot games will both enhance players’ entertainment experience while continuing AGLC’s stewardship of a socially responsible environment.”
Bluberi, headquartered in Las Vegas, will be installing machines with their titles in Alberta casinos this spring. Titles will include Devil’s Lock and Rocket Rumble.
The company already has a game-development business in Canada, with internal studios in Quebec and New Brunswick, as well as in Texas and Nevada.
Bluberi last month announced the promotion of Steve Kohon to chief operating officer to oversee production, field services, and information technology internally. On Thursday of this week, the company announced the hiring of Scott Richards as their new vice president of commercial strategy and business development.
In January, Bluberi unveiled Pixel Jam, their studio in Moncton, NB, headed by veteran game designer Frank Leger, who has over 17 years of experience in game design.
According to AGLC, in 2022-23, $1.5 billion in net gaming income was generated for the province’s general revenue fund from all provincial gaming activities.
AGLC will work with Bluberi to integrate GameSense’s responsible gambling tools and features into their game offerings as well.
