Working in a dynamic environment with a positive work culture goes a long in way toward spurring creativity. Bluberi knows that full well, and they’re betting their new office in Drummondville, QC, will more than pass muster.

The Las Vegas-based gaming and technology company Bluberi has a long history with Drummondville, located 60 miles northeast of Montreal, going back 30 years.

Bluberi held a celebration last week with an “unlocking” ceremony, paying homage to the company’s popular Devil’s Lock slot theme.

“This move marks a new era for us. We now have the privilege of working in a dynamic environment, surrounded by cafés and restaurants and close to beautiful parks and the river promenade,” stated Benoit Lapolice, Senior Vice President of Research & Development. “The new premises reflect our desire for fostering innovation and well being for all our employees.”

Bluberi has internal game-development studios in New Brunswick, as well as the one in Quebec, and in Texas and Nevada. The company announced in April that it was installing gaming machines with their titles in Alberta casinos. Titles include the aforementioned Devil’s Lock and Rocket Rumble.

The research and development office in Drummondville will encompass hardware, engineering, platform, program management, and various other functions. Two fully integrated game studios feature talent in art, motion design, math, programming, as well as information technology and technical services.

As well as Devil’s Lock and Rocket Rumble, the Drummondville studio has been responsible for popular slot games like Xing Fu 888, Double Flamin’ Link, Shark’s Lock, and Devil’s Lock All In, the latter on the new and homegrown Beacon Elite hardware.

“Bluberi is really coming into its own, first with the grand opening of our Las Vegas headquarters in April and now with our new Drummondville office,” said Andrew Burke, Bluberi’s Chief Executive Officer. “As a company, we’ve established an aggressive growth strategy for increasing revenue and market share and bringing more jobs to the North American work force. The opening of our new Drummondville office creates opportunities to continue this path.”
