BetMGM strikes deal for Wheel of Fortune online casino with Sony, IGT

BetMGM Tuesday announced an agreement with Sony Pictures Television and International Game Technology to launch Wheel of Fortune Casino. When it debuts in New Jersey later this year, Wheel of Fortune casino will be the first full-branded online casino in North America.

“Wheel of Fortune is watched nightly by millions of people and BetMGM is honored to partner with Sony Pictures Television and IGT to bring this online casino experience to life,” said BetMGM Chief Revenue Officer Matt Prevost in a statement. “Once live, Wheel of Fortune Casino will offer players the excitement of their favorite game show and real-money wagering in the palm of their hand.”

“With Wheel of Fortune celebrating its 40th season this year, we are pleased to be partnering with BetMGM for the launch of Wheel of Fortune’s very first online casino,” said Sony Pictures Television Executive Vice President of Game Shows Suzanne Prete.

When launched in New Jersey, the online casino will feature America’s Game slot titles produced by IGT and other themed games and features.

BetMGM will continue to provide responsible gambling resources to players including GameSense, a program, developed and licensed to MGM Resorts by the British Columbia Lottery Corporation. Through the GameSense integration within BetMGM’s mobile and desktop platforms, customers can directly access responsible gaming tools.
