BetMGM extends partnership with National Hockey League as sports betting partner

BetMGM and the National Hockey League Tuesday announced a multi-year partnership extension. BetMGM will continue as an official sports-betting and gaming partner of the league and create specialized VIP fan experiences, use NHL imagery to design team and league-branded casino games, and be featured during nationally televised broadcasts.

“The NHL is a symphony of athleticism, teamwork, and skill on skates. Our partnership extension with the league enables us to enhance the BetMGM product and offer fans entertainment built around the game they love,” said BetMGM CEO Adam Greenblatt in a statement.

BetMGM will receive significant branding in nationally televised broadcasts in the U.S., with the operator’s camera visible signage extending throughout the NHL’s regular season and Stanley Cup Playoffs. Inventory includes Digitally Enhanced Dasherboards, the NHL’s advanced approach to dynamic dasherboard advertising, and virtual slot in-ice ads.

“The evolution of our partnership with BetMGM will focus on building unique and compelling fan experiences, as well as event activation and media programming all with an eye toward delivering exciting new ways for our fans to interact and engage with the sport,” said NHL Vice President, Business Development Jason Jazayeri.

BetMGM and the NHL are also prioritizing responsible gaming education. Both parties are official partners of the American Gaming Association’s Have A Game Plan. Bet Responsibly public-service campaign to educate new and veteran bettors on responsible sports wagering.
