LAS VEGAS (AP) – The Bellagio fountain show on the Las Vegas Strip that pairs choreographed water shows to operatic ballads and classic crooning is getting funkier.

MGM Resorts announced Monday the Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars pop hit “Uptown Funk” would join the musical rotation for the free water show that happens every 15 minutes or 30 minutes depending on the time of day in front of the casino-resort.

MGM says Bruno suggested they rename the Bellagio the “Brunagio” during a private show.

Other recent lineup additions include a song from DJ Tiesto as well as Michael Jackson’s “Billie Jean” and The Beatles’ “Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds.”

The fountain shows are choreographed by Southern California company Wet Design that created the elaborate water display that debuted with the casino-resort in 1998.
