Bally’s Corporation Thursday announced two appointments: Don Westcott was named SVP, Global Chief Compliance Officer, and Tammi Barlow was introduced as the inaugural VP of Global Responsibility and Social Impact.
“On behalf of the entire leadership team, I am pleased to welcome Don and Tammi to Bally’s,” said Bally’s Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer Kim M. Barker in a statement. “Their deep expertise enables Bally’s to continue our progress toward building industry-leading compliance, responsible gaming and social impact functions as the Company continues to grow and expand.”
Westcott has more than 25 years of experience in financial technology and gaming industries. He most recently served as Nuvei’s global head of compliance and also has worked in executive roles with Fiserv and First Data.
Westcott developed regulatory compliance programs and control frameworks that enable financial institutions and financial technology service providers’ services in the gaming industry. He has worked for Caesars Entertainment, Osage Casinos, and Isle of Capri Casinos, and started working in the gaming industry for Jumer’s Casino & Hotel, now Bally’s Quad Cities in Illinois.
Barlow has more than ten years of experience building and managing responsible gaming and corporate social responsibility programs for gaming industry companies. Before joining Bally’s, she led the development and execution of Rush Street Interactive’s corporate social responsibility strategy, including the implementation of RSI’s responsible gaming initiatives. At RSI, Barlow worked with C-suite executives and external industry experts to promote the expansion of the company’s diversity, equity, and inclusion program and its CSR programs and developed strategies to create its first community engagement and employee volunteer program.
Barlow is a committee member of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee for Global Gaming Women, where she previously was co-chairwoman. She is currently chairwoman of the Responsible Gaming Committee for the National Council on Problem Gambling, a board member of the Massachusetts Council on Gaming and Health, and a committee member of African Americans in Gaming.
