With a big haul in baccarat and table-game revenue, the Las Vegas Strip recorded a 8.2% increase in gaming win in October to kick off a strong third quarter.

The Strip reported $748.8 million in revenue in October, up from $692 million, according to the Nevada Gaming Control Board. That helped the state’s casinos generate $1.35 billion in win, a nearly 5% increase over the $1.28 billion in October 2024.

The Strip generated $116.4 million in baccarat revenue, a nearly 70% increase over 2024’s $68.7 million. The drop was up 8.5%, but the difference was a hold of 18.6%, up from 11.9% a year ago. Excluding baccarat, other table game revenue rose nearly 10% to $214.2 million, up from $195 million on a 14.3% hold.

That happened in a month in which slot revenue on the Strip fell 2.4%, while slot handle rose 3% year-over-year.
The Strip’s showing was an outlier for most of the state.

Locals casinos pulled in $273.9 million in October, a slight gain of 0.2% from $273.2 million in October 2024, despite a nearly 5% increase in slot handle. Only North Las Vegas matched that, with an 8.3% increase in October to $24.3 million, up from $22.4 million.
