Some sizeable industry news this week, as Betsson has signed a major partnership with Authentic Gaming, agreeing to carry Authentic’s entire existing library of games across their whole brand portfolio worldwide. Now, as well as playing roulette with live dealers from Foxwoods at major land-based venues in Europe, such as the Royal Casino in Denmark and the Saint Vincent Casino in Italy, players will have access to these games through Betsson’s already impressive range of online casinos and brands, which include betsafe.com and casino.dk. This deal is a major coup for Betsson, an expanding operator in Europe. They are one of the first such operators to sign up to Authentic’s premium table collection.
Authentic Gaming CEO Jonas Delin was quoted in the press release announcing the deal as saying, “We are thrilled to have added the Betsson Group’s roster of brands to our network. A number of tier one operators are now offering Authentic Gaming’s portfolio of live games and signing the Betsson Group is further testament to the strength of our premium live casino proposition.”
Joey Hurtado, Head of Live Casino at Betsson Group, told reporters, “We always strive to offer the best suite of live casino games and Authentic Gaming’s list of real casino partners can only add more strength to our proposition. “Foxwoods Resort Casino presents a great opportunity to offer games from the biggest casino resort in North America, a first for us and the industry.”.
The deal is locked down for both parties and looks set to boost Authentic’s reputation the most. Moreover, the precedent set by the deal is likely to spur their acquisition of new clients signing up to their most attractive product, their premium table collection.
