Aruze Gaming America Thursday announced the appointment of Kurt Hansen as its new Vice President of iGaming. Hansen will be responsible for marketing and promoting the company to a global set of online gamblers for the Las Vegas-based developer of gambling entertainment solutions. Hansen also will oversee all igaming operations.
“iGaming is an important market opportunity for Aruze,” said Azure Gaming President Rob Ziems in a statement. “Kurt’s experience throughout the gaming industry will be instrumental in building our iGaming department. Kurt will be a major asset as we explore and advance our online gaming presence.”
Hansen most recently served as GameCo’s Head of Digital. He also has worked for Aristocrat Technologies and GAN, specializing in managing online gaming platforms.
“I’m thrilled to be joining the Aruze team,” Hansen said. “There is so much room for innovation in gaming, specifically online gaming, and I’m excited to build off of Aruze’s current momentum and bring their innovative products to the iGaming space.”
