Aristocrat Leisure Thursday announced introduced Matthew Primmer as the company’s new chief product officer. Primmer, who will report to Aristocrat CEO and Managing Director Trevor Croker, will join the company’s executive steering committee and be based in Las Vegas.
Primmer most recently served as Aristocrat’s chief product officer.
“I am delighted to elevate a global gaming executive of Matt’s caliber to our leadership team,” said Croker in a statement. “Over the past decade, Matt has made a strong contribution to building and extending Aristocrat Gaming’s global product leadership, fostering our outstanding creative and technical talents, championing D&D, and placing customer needs at the center of our product strategy.
Primmer has more than 20 years of experience in global gaming, including 10 years with Aristocrat in senior product strategy, insights, and leadership in the U.S. and Australia. He previously worked in with Ainsworth Game Technology and Shuffle Master in executive roles.
“Matt’s appointment brings additional proven gaming experience to the executive team,” Croker added. “In his new role, Matt will help us maintain an enterprise view of product strategy as our business grows to encompass a broader range of product verticals, while also ensuring the most effective allocation of D&D investment.
