The Talisman Group, creators of the EZ Baccarat table game brand, has announced that Anthony Cabot has joined the company as senior advisor.
Mr. Cabot was recently named the first Distinguished Fellow in Gaming Law at UNLV’s William S. Boyd School of Law following a long career with Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie LLP.
Mr. Cabot’s role with the Talisman Group will be to help guide the strategic direction of the company and expand the EZ Baccarat franchise into additional revenue channels, including online gaming, live dealer, electronic table games, live multigame and stadium seating terminals worldwide.
“I’ve had a professional relationship with Talisman Group for over 20 years, during which I was instrumental in helping EZ Baccarat grow into a powerful table game brand,” Mr. Cabot said.
“Now that EZ Baccarat is making headway into digital gaming, my role as senior advisor will allow me to put my years of digital research and empirical knowledge into the pursuit of this challenging new opportunity.”
EZ Baccarat, a “no commission” variant of traditional baccarat, was created and developed by Robin Powell and Francisco Tejeda. The game is in more than 150 casinos around the world.
“We are pleased that Mr. Cabot has picked our company to provide strategic advice (for),” EZ Baccarat co-creator and Talisman Group principal Tejeda said in a statement. “Having Anthony on board will greatly increase our capability to pursue the digital markets that are rapidly becoming the biggest areas of growth in gaming.”
