Ainsworth Game Technology recently announced a partnership with Junto Creations to create a new game development studio based in Austin, Texas. Jim Palermo, founder of Junto Creations, will serve as a key strategic advisor to the studio.
Palermo previously worked for Everi, Incredible Technologies, and WMS Gaming in game development, product strategy and leadership roles before founding Junto Creations in 2019.
The new studio team will focus on creating video slot content for Ainsworth. The studio is comprised of former studio members of Junto Creations.
“This shows we are consciously focused on improving our product and our brand,” said Ainsworth Chief Technology Officer David Bollesen in a statement. “The Austin team brings a wealth of experience and ideas. Their talent will provide an additional avenue to continuing to improve game performance and taking our content to the next level.”
The Austin development hub joins Ainsworth’s Sydney, Australia, and Las Vegas game studios to provide content across all land-based platforms.
